Turn Any Job Description into an Adaptive Skills Test with Integrity Signals in Minutes.

SkillParakh turns a job description into an adaptive multiple-choice skills test with independently checked answer keys, scored by fixed rules. It costs ₹200 ($5.00) per published test and ₹10 ($0.25) per candidate, plus applicable taxes, with no subscriptions and no per-seat fees.

  • Every test asks at least 30 questions, on an adaptive path
  • Answer keys checked by a second, independent AI pass
  • Scored by fixed rules, with no AI at test time
  • No video is ever recorded or uploaded

Works best in Chromium-based browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and similar.

Why SkillParakh exists

SkillParakh replaces hours of manual phone screening with a short, fair, rule-scored test built from the job description you already have.

Manual phone screens and shared forms

Writing questions and calling candidates takes hours. Every candidate gets the same fixed paper, and answers are easy to copy or look up.

Short, fixed-length tests

A very short test can be finished in minutes and tells you little. A long one takes more writing time than a recruiter has.

The SkillParakh approach

AI builds the test from your job description, a second blind AI pass checks the answer key, every test is at least 30 questions on an adaptive path, and scoring is rule-based. You pay per test and per candidate from a prepaid wallet.

Who it is for

  • Recruitment agencies screening many candidates for client roles
  • In-house HR teams hiring in volume
  • Hiring managers who review one job's questions and results

Best for high-volume screening of any role through multiple-choice questions.

From job description to ranked shortlist in six steps

You describe the role once; SkillParakh builds, checks and scores the test.

  1. Describe the role

Enter the job title and seniority and paste the job description. AI extracts the must-have and nice-to-have skills.

  2. Generate the three-level topic bank

AI proposes weighted topics and writes four-option questions at Easy (1 point), Medium (2 points) and Hard (3 points).

  3. Two-pass AI answer check and reviewer approval

A second independent AI pass answers each question blind; disagreements are rewritten. You or an invited reviewer can edit and approve the questions.

  4. Publish the test

Publishing costs ₹200 ($5.00). The question bank locks when the first candidate is served a question.

  5. Invite candidates

Invite one by one or upload a spreadsheet, or switch on the optional Open Link with a spending cap.

  6. Get a ranked, rule-based result

Scores are calculated instantly by fixed rules and you can review each candidate's path, add notes and export to a spreadsheet.

What the test does

Each test is adaptive, never repeats a question for a candidate, and is scored by fixed rules.

Adaptive difficulty

One question at a time, with no going back. Every test asks at least 30 questions. Difficulty starts at Medium, steps up to Hard after a right answer and down to Easy after a wrong one, and topics are visited in shuffled rounds. The full question bank is never sent to the candidate's browser, and a refreshed page resumes safely.

Two-pass answer verification

After AI writes each question, a second independent AI pass answers it without seeing the key. A disagreement or an ambiguous question is discarded and rewritten.

Rule-based scoring, no AI at test time

Answers are matched to the verified key: 1, 2 or 3 points by difficulty, shown as a percentage of the points available. Recruiters can add private notes or override a score from 0 to 100 with a recorded reason; the original score is kept.

Audit trail

For every candidate you can see the questions served, topic, level, the option picked and whether it was correct. Jobs and candidate records cannot be deleted, so the record stands if a result is disputed.

Built for agencies and shared hiring teams

Roles are Admin, Recruiter and a job-scoped Reviewer, and team seats are free.

The job-scoped Reviewer role

Invite a client's hiring manager or a department head to one specific job. They can inspect, edit and approve its questions and read that job's candidate results, without seeing billing or any other job.

  • Admin: company setup, team management, company-wide webcam default
  • Recruiter: creates and publishes tests, invites candidates, reviews results, tops up the wallet
  • Reviewer: one job only

Invite-only by default, optional Open Link

Candidates are invited one by one or from a spreadsheet (columns in any order; unreadable rows are reported, never dropped silently). Each confirms their email with a one-time code and gets one attempt, which prevents question leaks and retakes under another email.

For high-volume roles you can switch on the optional Open Link (Genie Link) with a spending cap you set. It charges ₹10 ($0.25) per admitted candidate and pauses by itself when the cap or the wallet runs out.

Integrity signals, without recording video

Proctoring here means signals shown to the recruiter, not device lockdown, and no video is ever recorded or uploaded.

  • Leaving the test window

Counts how many times the candidate left the test tab or window.

  • Blocked copy, paste and right-click

Counts blocked attempts to copy, cut, paste or open the context menu on test content.

  • Very fast submission

Flags a test finished much faster than the number of questions answered suggests.

  • Optional webcam face checks

Counts how many times no face or more than one face was seen. The check runs inside the candidate's browser and no video is recorded or uploaded.

  • Second screen detection

Notes when the browser reports an extended display (where the browser supports this).

  • Evidence photos on multiple faces

Saves up to three small still photos, only when more than one face is seen, for the recruiter to review.

  • Camera unavailable notice

Shows "Camera unavailable" when the webcam could not be used, so zero checks is never read as a clean result.

  • Tampering warning

Shows a red warning if the candidate's browser settings differ from the platform's records.

Face counting runs locally in the candidate's browser. Signals inform the recruiter's judgement and never end a candidate's test. Webcam checks are on or off per company and per job, and candidates are told in the consent screen.

What SkillParakh does and does not do

These limits are deliberate: they keep tests fast, auditable and priced at ₹10 ($0.25) per candidate.

Does
  • Builds a multiple-choice test from your job description in minutes, for any role
  • Checks every answer key with a second, independent AI pass
  • Asks at least 30 questions per test, on an adaptive path (starts at medium; right answers step up, wrong answers step down)
  • Scores by fixed rules with no AI, and lets recruiters add notes or override a score with a reason
  • Lets you invite an outside reviewer to one job
  • Shows integrity signals to the recruiter without stopping the candidate
  • Exports candidate results to a spreadsheet
Does not do today
  • Multiple choice only: no live coding environment, no written or essay answers, no AI grading of open text
  • No video interviews and no continuous video recording
  • Candidates cannot go back to earlier questions, cannot retake a test, and do not see their own score or the correct answers (they can leave a 1 to 5 star rating and a comment)
  • No built-in connections to applicant tracking systems and no Google or Microsoft single sign-on (use spreadsheet upload and export)
  • Customers cannot delete jobs or candidate records, so the audit trail stands if a result is disputed

Frequently asked questions

How does SkillParakh generate a skills test from a job description, and how do you prevent wrong AI answer keys?

You enter a job title and seniority and paste the job description. AI extracts the required and preferred skills, proposes a weighted list of topics, and writes four-option multiple-choice questions at three difficulty levels for each topic. A second, independent AI pass then answers every question without seeing the answer key. If it disagrees with the key or finds the question ambiguous, the question is discarded and rewritten. You can edit any question yourself, and an invited reviewer can approve the questions before you publish.

Is AI used to grade candidates' answers?

No. Nothing AI-related runs while a candidate takes the test or when the score is calculated. Each answer is checked against the verified answer key: 1 point for an easy question, 2 for medium and 3 for hard. The score is shown as a percentage of the points available on the questions the candidate was asked. Recruiters can add private notes or override a score from 0 to 100 with a recorded reason, and the original score is kept.

How does the prepaid wallet pricing work, and are there any monthly subscriptions or per-seat fees?

There are no subscriptions and no per-seat fees. You top up a prepaid wallet and pay ₹200 ($5.00) to publish a test and ₹10 ($0.25) for each candidate invited or admitted through the optional Open Link, once per candidate per job. Wallet packs are ₹1,000 ($25), ₹2,500 ($60) and ₹5,000 ($125), and the ₹5,000 Agency Pack adds 10% bonus credit; you can also add any custom amount. All prices exclude applicable taxes, which are shown before you pay. A new organization that signs up with a company-domain email address receives ₹300 of free wallet credit, once per company domain. Free webmail addresses do not receive it. When you close a test, candidates who were invited but never started it are refunded to your wallet as one summary entry. Candidates who started the test are not refunded.

Can I use SkillParakh for non-technical roles like finance, sales, operations, and HR?

Yes. Tests are built from whatever job description you paste, so they work for finance, accounting, sales, operations, marketing, customer support, HR and technical roles. Every question is multiple choice, so the tests suit knowledge, judgement and calculation skills. They do not test coding or written answers.

How does the external Reviewer role work for recruitment agencies and hiring managers?

A reviewer is an outside collaborator, such as a client's hiring manager or a department head, whom you invite to one specific job. They can inspect, edit and approve that job's questions before you publish and can read that job's candidate results. They cannot see billing, wallet balances or any other job. Reviewers are free.

What is the difference between Bulk Invite and the Open Link (Genie Link)?

By default tests are invite-only: you invite candidates one by one or by uploading a spreadsheet, each candidate confirms their email with a one-time code and gets one attempt. The optional Open Link is a public link you switch on per job with a spending cap that you set. It charges ₹10 ($0.25) for each admitted candidate, pauses on its own when the cap or the wallet runs out, and resumes after a top-up.

Does SkillParakh record candidate webcam videos during proctoring?

No. Video is never recorded or uploaded. When webcam checks are on, face counting runs inside the candidate's own browser and only counts are kept: how many times no face or more than one face was seen. If more than one face is seen, up to three small still photos are saved as evidence for the recruiter. Other signals are leaving the test window, blocked copy and paste, a very fast submission, a second screen, and a warning if browser settings differ from the platform's records. These signals inform the recruiter and do not stop the test.

Which browsers does SkillParakh work best in?

SkillParakh works best in Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave, for recruiters and for candidates taking a test. Some integrity signals, for example second-screen detection, are reported only by Chromium-based browsers, so a candidate on another browser may show fewer signals. We recommend candidates use one of these browsers.
